This workshop was led by the committee chair, Dr. Jeffrey Koplan. The first presentation was given by Harold Goldstein, Dr.P.H., on strategies for developing school-based health promotion policies. The next session focused on helping public schools to balance meeting expectations of obesity prevention and of fiscal and curriculm goals.
