Goal: Examine existing algorithms based on clinical expertise, the latest knowledge of H1N1, and issues unique to the pediatric population.

Goal: Determine key factors to assure clarity and comprehension; determine how best to communicate the risks of actions during a pandemic.
4) Public Health Informatics and Modeling

Goal: Assess the feasibility of using bidirectional communication to generate “real time” epidemic data; discuss possible uses for data; identify and address possible legal considerations.

Goal: Identify technological options for promoting individualized bi-directional communication in a pandemic, including likely target groups for each technology. Discuss various strategies for offering personalized risk assessment and health advice to the public.
