How do I get a username and password?
Login information was sent to you recently in an email from the membership office. Both your username and password can be changed after you login successfully to the Members' Site using the information provided in the email.  We encourage you to change your default username and password after you login successfully to the Members' Site. However, please note your changes in a safe place.

How do I log into the Members' Site?
Click here or on Login found in the upper right corner of this page.  Enter your username and password when prompted, and click OK.

How do I change my username or password?
After you have logged into the Members' Site, you can change your username and password at any time by clicking on Web Services (currently available under Site Highlights). Additional help is available on this page.

What if I cannot remember my username?
If you cannot remember your username but know your password, select Click here if you forgot your username.  Provide the email address which the IOM has on file for you and click "Email to Me."  Your username will be electronically mailed to you.

What if I cannot remember my password?
If you cannot remember your password, select Click here if you forgot your password. Provide the email address which the IOM has on file for you and click "Email me a New One"  A new password will be emailed to you.  We encourage you to change this password after you login successfully to the Members' Site. However, please note your changes in a safe place.

What if I am a member of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) or the National Academy of Engineering (NAE)?
If you are a member of the IOM and also a member of the NAS or NAE, please note that your IOM username and password can only be used to log into the IOM site.  You can log into the NAS or NAE site by following these links:
