Erin Mullen, R.Ph., Ph.D.
is the Assistant Vice President, Rx Response for the Pharmaceutical Researchers and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). She is responsible for overseeing and managing the Rx Response program, which is an information-sharing forum comprised of pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, pharmacies, hospitals, disaster relief agencies and state/federal government agencies to help support the continuing provision of medicines to patients whose health is threatened by a severe public health emergency. Rx Response engages during a severe natural disaster, large-scale terrorist attack or a pandemic that disrupts the normal supply of medicines. Prior to leading Rx Response, Ms. Mullen has practiced pharmacy in a variety of settings: as a community pharmacist, clinical adjunct faculty with the Colleges of Pharmacy at the University of Florida and Florida A& M University, and disaster responder. Ms. Mullen graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy. She earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Miami.
