The second public committee meeting of the Committee on the U.S. Commitment to Global Health was held on the afternoon of July 21, 2008, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, in the Keck Center of the National Academies, located at 500 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, DC.

The meeting included presentations on opportunities for the U.S. to strengthen health systems in low- and middle-income countries. The agenda and speaker presentations can be accessed below.
