- The committee was in closed session on Wednesday, July 20th from 8:00am - 1:00pm & Thursday, July 21st from 8:00am - 3:00pm.

IOM committees decide as their work progresses what meetings will be closed or open. The agendas for future meetings of this committee have not yet been determined, so it is not yet known when (or if) there will be another opportunity for public comment. As committee members deliberate, they decide when and how they need to gather further information. You can, of course, submit written statements or documents anytime during the committee process if you do not have an opportunity to speak.
If you have information that you would like to share with the committee (regardless of whether you also spoke at the meeting), or would like to supplement your talk with a longer written statement or other documentation, you can do so by submitting it to the committee by using the contact information below. **Please note** any comments that you submit to the committee, including your name and identifying information, will not be kept confidential and will be included in a Public Access File as the National Academy of Sciences complies with Section 15 of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). The National Academies shall be authorized to use any such comments or submissions in accordance with the National Academies' Terms of Use Statement.
